Housing shareholders of the HC "Kadetskiy" in Krasnodar ask court to suspend demolition of house

Today, the Prikubansky Krasnodar District Court has to consider a lawsuit filed on behalf of the shareholders of the six-storey building at No. 9 Kadetskaya Street on suspension of the executive proceeding about demolition of the apartment building.

On Friday, April 5, the initiative group of shareholders of the Housing Cooperative (HC) "Kadetskiy" had a meeting with the Mayor of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov, who said that the court's decision on demolition of the house should be enforced in any case, and "any calls for the authorities to stand up for the citizens" are unacceptable.

"We warn people: don't meddle in 'self-building' affairs; thus you doom yourself to miserable life. We had warned you; however, you did it; and finally you are in such a situation," said the Mayor.

Oleg Gorodjanov, the head of municipal control of the administration of Krasnodar, urged the shareholders to address the police with applications against the actions of the developer and file civil suits for return of money.

Meanwhile, the people who had bought apartments in the "Kadetskiy", are not yet ready to bring legal claims against the developer and are trying together to save the high-rise building. People point out that they have no claims as to the quality of construction of the house and do not want to refuse from their apartments.
