In Dagestan, relatives identified Deputy Magomedaliev in photo of those killed in Semender

On March 24, relatives of Magomedkhabib Magomedaliev, the chairman of the district assembly of the Untsukul District, were shown the photos of the persons killed during a special operation in the village of Semender. Gasan Magomedov, one of the relatives, told that he saw Magomedaliev in one of the photos.

"Magomedkhabib was killed by two shots in the head and the chest. His body is now in the morgue; they don't give it out for burial, although the respective ceremony is already on in his native village," Gasan Magomedov told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Fatima Ubaidatova, the deputy head of the Information and Public Relations Division of the MIA of Dagestan, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the MIA has no data on the Semender casualties.

Now, the bodies are being identified, said Rasul Temirbekov, a senior assistant to the head of the Investigatory Department for Dagestan of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF). "The bodies are badly burned; it's hard to say who had been killed during the special operation," said Temirbekov.
