Local resident: power agents conduct mass searches in Tsumadin District of Dagestan

Gadji Magomedov, a resident of the village of Kvanada, has reported that today the village was blocked by power agents, who conducted mass searches.

According to Magomedov, from the afternoon, power agents began their targeted inspections and searches in Kvanada, blocked by military equipment; they gave no explanation but behaved "politely". Then, they stationed near the village, the local resident told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Gadji Magomedov also said that soldiers had set up mortars and dug trenches in the vicinity of Kvanada. According to his story, at least 500 power agents gathered around Kvanada; the tension among local residents is growing.

The press service of the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that they had no information about inspections and searches in Kvanada.
