ICRF investigator assassinated in Kabardino-Balkaria

Today at 9:30 p.m. Moscow time, in Nalchik, in Pushkin Street, unidentified persons opened automatic fire at the car of the inspector of the second division of the Investigatory Department for Kabardino-Balkaria of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation.

As reported by the Department, the 23-year-old Lieutenant of Justice Kantemir Kyarov died on the spot.

According to the Department, a criminal case was opened under Articles 295 (assault on the life of the person engaged in preliminary investigation) and 222 (illegal firearm circulation) of the Russian Criminal Code.
