Turkish police accused Georgian citizens of maintaining a brothel

On January 11, the county police of Canakkale in Turkey detained eight Georgian citizens accused of operating a brothel. In the near future, according to the Turkish party, they will be deported to their homeland.

The citizens of Georgia were detained in the house they rented. Their names are not disclosed.

The operation of Turkish law enforcers also resulted in release of a few foreigners and 13 women-citizens of Georgia, who were forced into prostitution, the "Channel One" of Georgian television reports with reference to the information portal "haberler.com".

In the near future, the Turkish authorities intend to deport the detainees to Georgia.

So far, there is no confirmation of this information from official sources.
