The military are using aircrafts in a special operation in Dagestan

A special operation is going on in Dagestan. Additional forces, including military aviation, have been brought up to the site of the operation. According to more precise information, one gunman was killed and one serviceman wounded as a result of armed confrontation.

It should be reminded that the armed confrontation took place near the settlement of Bolshaya Areshevka, Kizlyar district. According to members of power ministries, the gunmen tried to breach the encirclement, one of them was killed in a skirmish as a result.

At the site of the battle in the neighbourhood of the settlement of Bolshaya Areshevka enforcement officers found a Kalashnikov, a pack with 250 cartridges and an F-1 grenade, RIA "Dagestan" referring to the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the republic reports.

According to more precise data, the incident took place at about 00:10 tonight. During operational search actions the personnel of law enforcement bodies were fired upon by unidentified persons. A serviceman of Inner Troops of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Russian Federation got wounded as a result. One of the attackers was killed by return fire. His identity is currently being established.

A source in law enforcement bodies of the republic said that no less than three gunmen got into encirclement, "Rosbalt" reports.

Presently, additional forces, including military aviation, are brought up to the site of the special operation, RBC reports.
