Sales of alcohol drinks will be prohibited in Ingushetia on Thursdays and Fridays

At the last plenary session before the parliamentary election deputies of the People’s Assembly of the forth convocation of Ingushetia adopted a law in draft on sales of alcohol and alcohol-containing production on Thursdays and Fridays.

Since September, 2010, retail sale of ready alcohol production containing over 15% ethyl alcohol is prohibited from 18:00 till 10:00.

The new bill stipulates that sales of alcohol will be allowed from 10:00 till 22:00, however sales of alcohol production on Thursdays and Fridays will be totally prohibited, web-site of the People’s Assembly of Ingushetia reports.

Head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Yevkurov took part in the discussion of the draft. He supported it and emphasized the necessity of specifying a penalty for violation of the law.

The bill was adopted in the first reading, “Interfax” reports.
