Two employees of Neutrino Observatory assassinated in Kabardino-Balkaria

In the evening on October 7, in the Elbrus District of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), unidentified criminals shot dead two employees of the Baksan Neutrino Observatory – the Guliev spouses.

The bodies of the spouses, both born in 1955, with gunshot wounds were found in an apartment in the village of Neutrino, the Investigatory Department for the KBR of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) reports.

According to preliminary data, the spouses were shot dead by two men who also took away their documents, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

The place of the incident is examined by an investigatory-operative team. A possible association of the crime with illegal armed formations is established, the ITAR-TASS reports.

Over the past two days, the Elbrus District witnessed a special operation and an armed clash, where a total of four suspected militants were liquidated.
