Youth of NCFD to build "Tower of Friendship" in North Ossetia

On October 2-11, the Youth Local Lore and Tourist Centre "Bars", located in the village of Fiagdon, North Ossetia, will host an interregional event under the motto "Build Your Tower".

Within the action, young people from the regions of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) will build the "Tower of Friendship". Young people aged 18-30, members of students' and youth labour regiments, university students, activists of public youth organizations and officials from bodies on youth matters and creative young people from the NCFD subjects will come to take part in the event.

Its idea was borrowed from the book of the republic's leader Taimuraz Mamsurov "Build Your Tower", which is mainly addressed to the younger generation. It presents the statements of the leaders about the values of life, wisdom, traditions, dignity, morals, friendship and family, the "Interfax" reports.

Also, the programme of the event includes training sessions aimed at promoting tolerance and strengthening the interethnic dialogue; tours will be organized over cultural and historical places of North Ossetia, and leisure and entertainment programmes, the "15th Region" reports.
