Investigators established that the act of terror on February, 14, was committed by Razdobudko and his wife

The investigation established that the act of terror on February, 14, in the village of Gubden, Dagestan, was committed by resident of Pyatigorsk Vitaly Razdobudko and his wife. This was reported by Sergey Chenchik, Director of the Headquarters of the Ministry of Interior Affairs in North Caucasian Federal Okrug (NCFO).

Law enforcement bodies had not ruled out that Vitaly Razdobudko was the suicide bomber who committed this act of terror, now this assumption has been confirmed.

"On February, 14, Vitaly Razdobudko and his wife committed self-blasting in the village of Gubden", Sergey Chenchik said to the journalists on April, 14. According to him, the purpose of this action like other similar ones in the territory of NCFO was fomentation of interethnic discord.

"Some people who had committed these crimes were doing it without a concrete purpose, others were planning and expecting some definite results. Look here, Razdobudko and his wife went to a Dagestani village and exploded themselves there killing the Moslems at the same time", RIA "Novosti" quotes Chenchik. - "I am far from believing that it had been a random accident for he might have been used as a suicide bomber in any other region".

Chenchik also assured us that cases when a Russian person adopted Islam and started preparing acts of terror were individual and rare, ITAR-TASS reports. "There is a group of people of Slavic ethnicity in the territory of Stavropol region who have adopted Islam, Vitaly Razdobudko among them. But I would not say that it is some definitely formed system", he said.

At the end of February a video message, supposedly, from Razdobudko, appeared on the Net. There is a man on the video wearing dark clothes and a hat at the wheel of a car, with a self-firer in his hands. There is also a pistol on the console in front of him. Appealing to "his friends in Pyatigorsk, other towns and his children" he calls them to protect the Moslems' honour for "the Moslems' lives are in danger". He also asks them to "strive to glorify their religion" and "never stop at what has been accomplished".
