Investigative actions at site of explosion in Moscow completed

Officers of the Federal Security Service and the Prosecutor's Office have completed investigative actions at the site of the explosion outside the National Hotel.

The explosion outside the National Hotel in the very center of Moscow, near Manezhnaya Square, occurred at 10:53 Moscow time on December 9. According to preliminary information, the direct performers were three kamikaze women. Another woman is supposed to be an organizer, and the police are seeking for her now.

The power of the explosion amounted to 5 kilograms of trotyl equivalent, according to specified information of Moscow law-enforcement agencies.

6 people died as a result of the terrorist act. 14 people were taken to city hospitals with injuries.
