Russian president offers to leave Ramzan Kadyrov in the post of Chechen leader

Dmitry Medvedev has offered the parliament of the Chechen Republic to re-elect the incumbent head Ramzan Kadyrov as the region leader.

Let us remind you that the "Edinaya Rossiya" (United Russia) Party had nominated Ramzan Kadyrov; Shaid Zhamaldaev, head of the Grozny Municipal District of the republic; and Muslim Khuchiev, Mayor of Grozny, as candidates for the post of the head of Chechnya to President Medvedev to choose.
