24 forged birth certificates found in Chechnya
During public prosecutor's inspection in the town of Argun (Chechnya) facts of illegal issue of 24 birth certificates by the registry office have been discovered. A maternity nurse of the municipal hospital has been acknowledged guilty of this swindle. 20 criminal proceedings were started on the fact at once.
"As the public prosecutor's inspection found out, 24 birth certificates have been issued by the registry office according to forged doctor's certificates of babies' birth. These certificates were allegedly given out by district hospital of Sunja, Ingushetia. During further inquiries it became clear that the hospital had not given off these certificates, all of them have been forged by the maternity nurse", an official of the republican law enforcement bodies reported.
According to this source, "the purpose of forging the documents has been receiving of the "mother's capital" and state benefits on child-care later on".
"Criminal proceedings have been started against the maternity nurse who had been dealing with manufacturing forged birth certificates. Investigation is currently seeking to establish the swindler's probable accomplices", the official of law enforcement bodies added.
Public prosecutor's office of Argun referred to court 24 requests of cancellation forged birth certificates and directed 20 resolutions for starting criminal proceedings against those guilty of forgery to preliminary investigation bodies.
