Investigation reveals suspects of death of student from Kabardino-Balkaria in Vladikavkaz

The Investigatory Committee (IC) for North Ossetia has established four more suspects, who took part in the brawl between students of the North-Caucasian State Steel Institute, as a result of which Kuanch Guliev, a student, died in hospital from received injuries.

Let us remind you that Guliev died on December 5 after 8 days in coma in a hospital of Vladikavkaz. His main traumas were a fracture of the skull base and two large brain haematomas.

Earlier it was reported that two of the participants of the fight were detained and are now in custody. Their names are not disclosed.

According to the IC's press service, the detainees were direct participants of the fight and have already seen their charges.

"It's possible that a criminal case will be opened under Article 111, part 4 (intentional infliction of grave bodily harm, entailing death by negligence). They are under threat of imprisonment for 5-15 years," the spokesman of the press service told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Four more suspects have been established in the case.

The IC has also reported that it is not clear so far how many young people participated in the brawl. According to earlier data, no animosity between students of Kabardino-Balkaria and North Ossetia had been observed before.

Youth organizations of North Ossetia have made a statement, in which they expressed sincere condolences to relatives and friends of Kuanch Guliev and condemned those who "have trampled all our traditions and customs and raised hands on a man who was a guest in our common home - North Ossetia."
