Investigators identify one of the attackers on Parliament of Chechnya
Law enforcement authorities have identified one of the suicide bombers involved in the October 19 attack on the Parliament of Chechnya. According to Ruslan Alkhanov, local Interior Minister, it was Muslim Chichkanov, 22, a resident of Chechnya.
As reported earlier by the "Caucasian Knot", the remains of three militants were sent for examination, because the bodies were strongly affected by suicide bombing; and it was impossible to immediately identify them.
According to the Minister, Chichkanov was an IAF (illegal armed formation) member from the end of 2009, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
