Election results outside Georgia declared invalid

Late at night yesterday the Mtatsminda-Krtsanissky District Court of Tbilisi declared invalid the results of the November 2 parliamentary elections at all the polling stations abroad. It was reported at the Central Election Commission of Georgia. It should be noted that it is a question of 80,000 votes.

The plaintiffs were the Labor Party, the Revival election bloc and the Fair Elections non-government organization. The latter conducted a parallel counting of votes at all polling stations both in Georgia and abroad.

Now the second round of the elections is to be held at all the polling stations mentioned.
