Kadyrov's lawyer treats video about his boss' involvement in attempt on Isa Yamadaev as provocation

The video report, in which the attempter on Isa Yamadaev names President of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov to be the customer of the crime is a provocation. This was stated by Andrei Krasnenkov, Mr Kadyrov's advocate.

Let us remind you that businessman Isa Yamadaev, brother of ex-Deputy Ruslan Yamadaev and ex-commander of the "Vostok" battalion Sulim Yamadaev, has accused personally President of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov of organizing the attempt on his life and murders of his brothers. His open letter with these charges was published in the "Moskovski Komsomolets" newspaper (MK). To prove his words, Isa Yamadaev presented a video from the interrogation, where his failed gunman names Ramzan Kadyrov to be the customer of the crime.

Making his comments on the video placed in the website of the MK, Mr Krasnenkov said: "It's a provocation - I'm sure by 100 percent; especially in view of the fact that this is not the first publication of this sort within the last three weeks."

"So many charges have been already put forward against Kadyrov - and always there are just words. When a check starts, we see lie and slander initiated by ill-wishers, who stand behind them," Andrei Krasnenkov said on air of the Russian News Service.

He has also noted that the leakage of such information from investigatory bodies looks suspicious. "It suggests that someone benefits, or the materials were forged," he has explained. "I can tell you that it's no secret that Yamadaev brothers would like to rule in Chechnya. I believe that those who hate stability both in Chechnya and in Russia as a whole may stand behind Isa."

The lawyer has emphasized that President of the Chechen Republic will also react to the video, but a bit later.
