Sappers of Russian MfA come to Chechnya to demine farmland

Yesterday, on September 17, a united detachment of the Ministry for Emergencies (MfA) of Russia came to Chechnya for demining the territory of the republic's state farm "Zarya" (Dawn). 31 specialists from the "Leader" Centre for Special-Risk Operations will work for six weeks in the Grozny District.

"The 'Leader' specialists will continue demining the farmland in the 'Zarya' state farm in the Grozny District of the republic. Sappers from the Russian MfA already worked there from April to May this year. Then, they managed to demine about 50 hectares of farmland and neutralized over 180 various explosive units," a spokesman of the Republic's MfA said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to his story, this time the "Leader" plans to demine over 60 hectares of farmland.
