Early relieved editor-in-chief of "Zhamanak" will go abroad to get his treatment
Arman Babadzhanyan, editor-in-chief of the oppositional newspaper "Zhamanak" (Time), who was released from custody before term on August 4 because of his poor health, in the next few days will go for treatment abroad.
Mr Babadzhanyan said that he would be urgently operated on abroad. The journalist did not name the country, saying that he prefers not to disclose this data.
As to his future activities, Arman said: "I'll be close to the Armenian National Congress (ANC), and 'Zhamanak' will serve the aims of the oppositional ANC."
He pointed to the inadequacy of his incriminated crime to the appointed term of punishment: "It's quite clear that it was a mere farce."
