CEC of Kislovodsk: pre-election campaign goes on without essential violations

The campaigning for early election of Kislovodsk Mayor, appointed for May 31, is going on according to the schedule and without essential violations. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told about it today at the City Electoral Commission (CEC) of Kislovodsk.

"The work goes on in full conformity with the schedule, electoral commissions are functioning, their members are on duty, and the early voting is taking place. No essential violations capable to affect the progress of voting have been registered," said Victor Vasiliev, chairman of the CEC.

In total, 6 candidates run for the post of Kislovodsk Mayor, namely: German Barbashov, Director General of the Limited Liability Company (LLC) "Laboratory of New Technologies and Comfort"; Imant Vasiliev, currently unemployed; Konstantin Kozlovskiy, Deputy Director of the Municipal Unitary Enterprise (MUE) "Municipal Advertising"; Natalia Lutsenko, incumbent acting Mayor of Kislovodsk; Boris Sazonov, Deputy Director of Kommandit Partnership LLC "Novy Kovcheg" and Co; and Azret-Ali Chotchaev, Director of "Belaya Vezha" Sanatorium.

Natalia Lutsenko, candidate from "Edinaya Rossiya", is still in hospital after the attack on her on May 19. She will vote at the closed polling station in the city hospital. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has learnt that earlier this week Ms Lutsenko was transferred to the intensive therapy ward. We remind you that the investigation tends to believe that the main aim of the attempt on Natalia Lutsenko was to eliminate her as one's main rival at the election.
