Georgian prisoners' mothers decide to resume hunger strike demanding amnesty
On September 19, a march was held in Tbilisi demanding a mass amnesty before the parliamentary elections. It was attended by the women who had held a hunger strike in front of the parliament building. After the march, they announced that they would resume their protest action on September 20.

The prisoners' female relatives, who demanded a large-scale amnesty, have suspended their hunger strike that had lasted for ten days.

The women who are on their hunger strike for the tenth day in front of the Georgian parliament have to periodically call ambulances due to deterioration in their health. Bachaliashvili family's lawyers note possible place of programmer's lockup before death
Programmer Tamar Bachaliashvili, who deceased in Georgia, and her car could stay on the territory of a hotel complex in the area of Tetritskaro while the nearby terrain was combed in a search for the young woman, lawyers of the Bachaliashvili family claimed. Searches and an investigative experiment were carried out inside the above premises.

The Tbilisi City Court has placed into custody Tamaz Khomasuridze, the father of the minor, who is accused of killing the football player, Giorgi Shakarashvili. The father is charged with threats, falsification of proofs and false testimonies.

The examination of the car of Tamar Bachaliashvili, a programmer who perished in Georgia, revealed drops of blood and DNA traces of two unknown persons inside the car. The blood appeared as a result of the injection of a lethal dosage of some drug injected into the young woman's vein, the advocate has suggested.

Authorities warn residents of Georgia against crowded weddings
New coronavirus infections in the Georgian Region of Guriya have to do with a crowded wedding, said Amiran Gamkrelidze, the head of the National Centre for Disease Control. Authorities have urged the population to refrain from large-scale celebrations.
