MPs offer to make Russian the official language in Nagorno-Karabakh
A bill on the recognition of the Russian language as an official language along with the Armenian one has been brought into the parliament of Nagorno-Karabakh. The issue of the second official language in the unrecognized republic became especially acute after the 2020 autumn war of, Aram Arutyunyan, an MP, has explained.

Nagorno-Karabakh presents names of 132 perished military servicemen
On February 16, the Nagorno-Karabakh's Ministry of Defence (MoD) released a new list of servicemen who perished in the hostilities during the last autumn escalation of the conflict. The list includes 132 names of militaries, the "News.am" has reported.

Azerbaijan hands more than 100 bodies over to Nagorno-Karabakh
The Azerbaijani party has handed the bodies of 106 people killed in the conflict zone over to the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh, the president of the unrecognized republic has informed.

Armenian side reports shelling near villages of Syunik Region
The Azerbaijani armed forces use small- and large-calibre weapons to shell the immediate vicinity of the villages in the Syunik Region of Armenia, the Ombudsman of Armenia claims today. The head of the Agarak village community also reports about the shelling.

Over past 24 hours, 34 refugees return to Nagorno-Karabakh
Peacemakers have escorted another group of refugees from Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh. The total number of returnees has made up 52,545 persons, the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

Journalists in Yerevan are outraged by restricted access to border villages
The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia has banned journalists from working in the border villages of the Syunik Region without special permits. This ban is contrary to the Armenian Constitution and points to possible new territorial concessions from Yerevan, journalists have stated.

Two Azerbaijani officers and three soldiers blown up on a mine
Two officers and three soldiers were hospitalized in severe condition after a mine explosion in the Tartar District. Since November 10, 2020, the total number of Azerbaijani residents blown up on mines has reached 74, the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan reported.
