The 700 residents of Abkhazia, who have returned from Georgia through the humanitarian corridor, were tested for coronavirus and sent to a two-week-long quarantine. Only those who have residence permits or 2016-model passports were allowed to return home.

For the period from June 22 to June 24, 2020, Abkhazia opens a humanitarian corridor for the return of residents of the republic who temporarily stay in Georgia.
