Dubrovka victims ask to excite a criminal case against the rescue headquarters

Representatives of the "Nord-Ost" public organization created in 2003 and trying to extract complete information from the official bodies on the hostage-release operation at the Theatre Centre in Dubrovka in 2002, have filed an application to the State Office of Public Prosecutor with a demand to open a criminal case against the members of the operative headquarters set up to rescue the hostages, Tatiana Karpova, the leader of the organization, has informed today the press conference in Moscow.

According to her information, the relatives of the victims are accusing the headquarters managers of concealing the information, negligence and default of service duties, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

Ms Karpova has noted that the members of the "Nord-Ost" organization have practically no claims to rank-and-file participants of the hostage-saving operation, but the heads of the headquarters "had committed a crime."

The "Caucasian Knot" has already informed that it became known on June 1 that the investigation into the circumstances of the act of terrorism at the Dubrovka Theatre Centre, where 125 persons had perished, was temporarily stopped.
