ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" attaches high profile to death penalty abolition

Being an advocate of the European system of values on human rights, the Armenian revolutionary federation "Dashnaktsutyun" attaches a high profile to the death penalty abolition in Armenia. Levon Mkrtchian, the leader of the National Assembly's faction "ARFD", declared it. According to him, the mortals can not be given the right to kill a man.

According to Mkrtchian's words, the faction also highlights the importance of establishing a temporary parliamentary commission for studying the effectiveness of the use of loans, credits, grants, and humanitarian aid received from foreign countries and international organizations.  According to him, the purpose of such commissions is not to find and punish the guilty, but to exclude further mistakes. Mkrtchian believes the objective appraisal of the policy that Armenia have been carrying out for the last 10 years, of the omissions made and achievements can play a crucial role for the country's future.
