Caucasian Forum Coordinator David Petrosian visited South Osetia

Caucasian Forum of NGOs Coordinator David Petrosian visited South Osetia on September 5-6. The visit was aimed at discussing prospects of cooperation with NGOs of South Osetia and familiarizing with social and political situation.

South Osetian NGOs has been fruitfully cooperating with the Caucasian Forum of NGOs for a long time. A series of projects for the development of democratic institutions in South Osetia, for building up trust among Caucasian people have been realized within the limits of this cooperation, various researches have been made.

On September 6 Mr. Petrosian met with Deputy Foreign Minister Alan Pliyev and the President's Advisor Kosta Kochiyev. In the second half of the day he met with South Osetian NGO activists.

  • Volgograd blogger detained for insulting Russian militaries

    Pavel Prokudin, a trash streamer from Volgograd, suspected of insulting fighters at the special military operation (SMO), has been detained in an apartment in Penza registered in someone else's name. He asked for forgiveness and explained that he was drunk.
