Special representative of UN Secretary-General is getting acquainted with state of IDPs in Russia

Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Internally Displaced Persons Francis Deng is getting acquainted with the state of IDPs in Russia. As the Secretary-General's official representative informed, Deng is visiting Russia on September 8-12 by the invitation of the Russian government.

The UN envoy is holding a series of meetings in Moscow and visiting internally displaced people in Chechnya and Ingushetia.
