Situation with human rights in places of compact residence of refugees is being studied in Ingushetia

The head of the Commission on Human Rights under the President of Russia Ella Pamfilova and the members of the Commission - Moscow Helsinki Group Chairwoman Lyudmila Alekseyeva and the head of the public reception chain "Migration and Law" Svetlana Gannushkina - arrived in the Republic of Ingushetia on September 4, 2003. The purpose of their visit is to study the situation with human rights in the places of compact residence of refugees and to elucidate the possibilities of holding the monitoring of the process of the coming Chechen presidential elections.
