Relatives of the missing hope to get process of Karabah settlement moving

Being in Stepanakert, a group of Azerbaijan relatives of the missing in the area of the Karabah conflict visited penitentiary institutions of the Nagorno-Karabah Republic - the Investigation Ward and the 1st Reformatory and Labor Institution of the Interior Ministry (a former Shushenskaya Prison) to make certain there were no prisoners of war. The relatives carried out their trip to Nagorny Karabah in the hope of learning something about the fate of their sons.

In the opinion of the relatives of the missing, their solidarity will promote the search and get the negotiation process moving. They see only a peaceful way of the Karabah problem solution as the further search of their near relations is possible only in this case.

The visit of the relatives was arranged on the initiative of the Nagorno-Karabah committee "Helsinki Initiative - 92" within the all-Caucasian project "Yellow Tulip".
