Female activists from Kabardino-Balkaria and Kuban accused of discrediting Russian army

Administrative cases for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces instituted against Anna Shtrigel and Maryana Kanukoeva were brought to courts of Novorossiysk and Chegem.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on March 4, liability for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces was introduced, after which residents of Russian regions began to be prosecuted under the new article. On July 23, Vadim Kharchenko, a blogger from Gelendzhik, was fined on the charge of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.
