Armenia rules out Azerbaijan's involvement in soldier's death

The information that Private Albert Miroyan perished in a shootout on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is not true, the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

According to the Armenian MoD, in the evening on March 16, the body of Private Albert Miroyan with a gunshot wound was found at a combat post.

Information was spread in social networks that Albert Miroyan had been killed in an armed clash on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. This information is not true, the Armenian MoD has stated today in its Facebook page.

Let us remind you that full-scale hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh lasted from September 27 to November 9, 2020. On November 10, 2020, a peace agreement came into force, according to which Baku received control over the territories occupied during the autumn war. You can see these territories on the map prepared by the "Caucasian Knot". The "Caucasian Knot" has also published the map of the deployment of Russian peacemakers in Nagorno-Karabakh.
