Izberbash townspeople claim problems with drinking water

The city of Izberbash continues facing problems with water supplies; sometimes water runs from taps, but in very scanty quantities, townspeople complain.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Izberbash residents complained about the absence of water in some city parts. Some houses have no water since July 10, others – even since July 4.

Shamil, a resident of Izberbash, who lives in Dagestanskaya Street, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that at the moment they had no water. The last time they had water was in the morning on June 21, the man said.

On July 20, due to a long absence of water, Shamil had to buy it, and he partially filled the tanks installed in the yard with water. "We called a vehicle, and they poured water into our tanks. Thus, we bought spring water," he said. The "Gorvodokanal" (city water supply service) does not accept applications for water supply due to its shortage, and the vehicles of the service drive extremely rarely, and bring water only to the yards of apartment buildings, Shamil has concluded.

Musa, a resident of Izberbash, who lives in Gamidov Street, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that water runs from the tap, but in a very small amount.

Another city dweller named Patimat, who lives in Mira Street, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that as of 7:30 p.m. Moscow time on July 23, she had no water. Water is supplied to her apartment with long interruptions; therefore, she is forced to buy water for drinking.
