Peacemakers help return Karabakh shepherd from Azerbaijan

A resident of Nagorno-Karabakh, who got lost and ended up in the area controlled by Azerbaijan, has been returned from captivity through the intervention of Russian peacemakers, Gegam Stepanyan, the Ombudsperson of Nagorno-Karabakh, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent on July 22.

According to the Ombudsperson, the man is a little over 50 years old; he is a shepherd in his village and poorly knew the surrounding area, which is now controlled by Azerbaijan; therefore, he got lost.
