Remains of a soldier found in area of Gadrut

Karabakh rescuers found the remains of a soldier killed during the combat actions. The total number of found bodies of combatants from the Armenian side reached 1553.

Earlier, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that during the autumn war of 2020, about 4000 Armenian soldiers were killed in Nagorno-Karabakh, and 3621 of them have been identified. According to Nikol Pashinyan, 321 people are missing in action.

Today, as a result of a search in the direction of Varanda (the Azerbaijani name is Fizuli, – note of the “Caucasian Knot”) and Gadrut, rescuers have found the remains of a soldier, the press service for the State Service for Emergencies of Nagorno-Karabakh reports. A forensic medical examination will be appointed to identify the soldier, the “NEWS.am” reports.
