NAC reports prevention of 15 terror act in Northern Caucasus

Since the early 2020, 15 terror acts have been prevented in the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), and 23 units of international terrorist organizations have been liquidated, the chairman of the National Antiterrorist Committee reported.

Today, at a meeting of the Federal Operational Headquarters, FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov, the chairman of the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), has reported about the law enforcers' success. According to Alexander Bortnikov, 35 "bandits" were "neutralized," while 53 others were detained, and more than 130 hidings and caches with weapons were found and destroyed. The above mentioned success made it possible to "maintain the trend towards stabilization of the operational situation in the region," the NAC reports on its official website.

Meanwhile, it has not been disclosed in which cities terror acts were prevented.
