Director of Chechen TV Company joins campaign against Emmanuel Macron
Chingiz Akhmadov, the director of the "Grozny" TV Company, joined the campaign supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin and condemned the position of migrants from Chechnya in connection with the publication in France of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the French president's decision to create "enlightened Islam" in the country and his refusal to condemn the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad provoked sharp criticism from the authorities of Chechnya. Ramzan Kadyrov accused Emmanuel Macron of fomenting extremist ideas, and Chechen Mufti Salakh Mezhiev declared the French president "the terrorist number one."
Dagestani athletes also joined the campaign against Emmanuel Macron. UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov appealed to Allah to punish Macron. Magomed Ismailov, a well-known Russian MMA fighter, says that the French president is Islamophobic and deliberately offends the feelings of believers.
On his Instagram page, Chingiz Akhmadov blamed migrants from Chechnya living in Europe for not opposing the policy of the French president and for not arranging any protests.
In particular, blogger Musa Lomaev condemned those who were cursing Emmanuel Macron, Chingiz Akhmadov stated.
Residents of Northern Caucasus should protest against the glorification of the Russian commanders of the Caucasian War and not against the policy of the president of another country, says Musa Lomaev himself after the criticism in his address.
