Nazran resident dies after being shelled by strangers
A 50-year-old resident of Nazran died after unidentified persons opened fire on him from inside a car, an Ingush law enforcement source has reported.
The gunfire was opened on him in the evening on September 14, at the time when he was leaving the store, the source has added.
"On Monday evening in Nazran, near one of the stores, allegedly two attackers fired several pistol shots at a 50-year-old man. He died on the spot from the received wounds," the RIA "Novosti" quoted the source on September 14.
The attackers fled the scene. The murder may be related to the death of two men – a 50-year-old resident of Nazran, a former employee of the state drug control, and a 55-year-old resident of the village of Barsuki, whose bodies were found in a Toyota Land Cruiser car in early September, the "Interfax" reported on September 14, citing its source familiar with the situation.
"According to the available preliminary information, after the mysterious death of the two men, a large sum of money disappeared from the car. The moment of theft was captured by a video recorder; it is known that relatives suspected their 50-year-old acquaintance, who was shot dead today, of stealing the money" the source has explained.
