With the appointment of the new head physician, medical officers of the Kamenskaya City Hospital began to quit en masse "in connection with the created situation, which was unhealthy morally and psychologically, unhealthy personnel [policy], and unhealthy financial situation," the doctors declared in a video appeal posted on July 30 in the public account of the local newspaper "Pik" on the social network "VKontakte". "During this period, the remunerations of doctors at the COVID hospital, not to mention the nurses, have fallen by about half, and according to the statements of our administration, the remunerations will decrease further," said on the video appeal Georgy Medvedev, the head of the surgical ward.
