Chechen law enforcers announce search for five Dagestani militants

Five natives of the village of Andirei, who are planning armed attacks, are being searched by Chechen law enforcers, the republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has announced. Law enforcers have tightened control on the border with Dagestan.

"The Chechen law enforcement bodies have received details about five alleged militants, namely: Khanarslan and Djanarslan Gadjaliev, Elbrus Gadjimuradov, Ibragim Ustarkhanov and Rashidkhan Khasankhanov, natives of the village of Andirei, Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, who are planning armed attacks on law enforcers and state officials," a source from the Chechen MIA has reported.

According to his story, the alleged militants may penetrate into the territory of Chechnya, or are already in the republic.

The searched natives of Dagestan are members of the "Andirei grouping" and have firearms on them, the "Operline.live Kavkaz" Telegram channel has reported this morning.
