Gukovo miners demand report of bankruptcy manager

On October 26, at a picket in Gukovo, former employees of the "Kingcoal" Company adopted an appeal to the prosecutor asking to oblige Roman Kopets, the bankruptcy manager of the "Zamchalovsky Anthracite", to report weekly on the progress of tendering the underground workings.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that during three years, former miners of the "Kingcoal" Company have been regularly holding pickets, demanding payment of wage debts and issuance of the ration coal. With the onset of autumn, the main problem of the miners, protesting in Gukovo, was the absence of money for heating. At the latest picket on October 20, miners told how they were gathering firewood for heating their houses due to the absence of coal.

On October 26, 36 former "Kingcoal" employees gathered for a picket near the Culture House of the "Rostovskaya" Mine, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has reported.

The miners wrote an appeal to the Public Prosecutor of the Rostov Region asking for help in organizing a meeting with the regional leadership to solve issues related to the remaining unpaid salary debts in the amount of 102 million roubles and the provision of the humanitarian coal to those in need.

In their appeal, the miners also ask to oblige Roman Kopets, the bankruptcy manager, to come to pickets every week and report to miners about how the tenders of underground workings are going on.
