Azerbaijan reports about shelling attacks on two villages on border with Armenia

The positions of the Azerbaijani troops, including in the border villages, were shelled 20 times within 24 hours, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan reported.

On September 30-October 1, the ceasefire was violated 20 times, reports the Azerbaijani MoD on its official website. The Azerbaijani positions in the villages of Alibeili and Mundjuglu in the Tovuz District and on anonymous heights in the Gadabay District came under fire.

In particular, the shelling attacks came from the positions "in the villages of Aigepar and Chinari in the Berd District," as well as from the areas treated by Azerbaijan as its occupied territories, the Azerbaijani MoD reported.

According to Yandex.Maps service, the town of Berd is located in the Tavush District in the north-east of Armenia. The Tavuz District borders with the Tovuz and Gazakh Districts of Azerbaijan.
