In Kuban, fire victims claim inaction of authorities

In the Temryuk District, 39 residents of MTF-1 village lost their houses in a fire. Local residents said that they had not yet received any assistance from the authorities.

The fire began at MTF-1 village in the Volna village in the afternoon on September 9.

According to the Temryuk district administration, 57 people were evacuated from the fire area. No one was injured, but the houses of 39 residents were completely destroyed. 26 people are temporarily accommodated in a hotel. The remaining victims were accommodated by their relatives and acquaintances, the district administration reports. An emergency situation is introduced in the Taman rural settlement, the press service of the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) reports.

16 families lost their houses in the fire, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told on September 10 by local resident Sergey Kirillov. According to him, the administration of the Taman rural settlement has not yet provided any assistance to the victims of the fire.

Yuri, a resident of the village, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that his house was completely burned down and his cattle died. According to the man, his family members were offered to move to a multi-seat hotel room. "We were warned that we could stay in a hotel for five days only. We refused and went to our relatives."

According to Yuri, all the necessities were provided to his family members by relatives and friends, and he did not receive any assistance from the authorities.
