The Krasnodar Territorial Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has launched a check of the video, in which Vadim Kharchenko, a local blogger, told about an attack on him. YouTube users have supported the blogger and his activities.

The Vadim Kharchenko 's YouTube channel named "Personal Opinion" has posted the videos with criticism of law enforcers and state servants. Earlier, Vadim reported that his car was burnt down, and he and his relative were fired from work, because of the videos posted by the blogger, the "Free Media" noted on June 4.

In his video posted on June 3 on the Kharchenko's "Personal Opinion" YouTube channel, the blogger tells that at night in Fadeev Street near the Krasnodar Airport he was to meet a man who introduced himself by telephone as a law enforcer. At the meeting, Kharchenko hoped to get a memory stick with information about law enforcers' illegal actions, but at the appointed time no one came. When the blogger was on his way to his car, he was attacked by two strangers. One of them fired several shots, allegedly from a traumatic pistol, the other inflicted knife wounds to the blogger.
