NKR claims 200 shelling attacks on its positions

During the period from February 24 to March 2, 2029, Azerbaijani militaries fired more than 3000 shots at the positions of the Defence Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), its Ministry of Defence (MoD) has claimed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 17-23, the NKR fixed 150 violations of the ceasefire regime by Azerbaijani militaries.

"From February 24 to March 2, the Azerbaijani party violated the ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone for about 200 times. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces fired over 3000 shots from small arms of different calibres on the Karabakh positions," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent quotes the statement of NKR's MoD.

By 6:35 p.m. Moscow time on March 2, the Azerbaijani MoD had not comment on this statement in its website. However, Azerbaijan, for its part, is regularly reporting shelling attacks from Armenia and the NKR. Only in the past 24 hours, the Azeri MoD counted 21 such attacks. In total, from February 24 to March 2, the Azerbaijani party, according to the calculations of the "Caucasian Knot", recorded 173 shelling attacks.
