Chechen authorities treat rumours about jihad of republic’s residents in Myanmar as a lie

The information that a group of Chechen residents have left for Myanmar is false, the republic's authorities have declared. Ramzan Kadyrov announced the distribution of humanitarian aid to Myanmar refugees.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 6, many WhatsApp users in Chechnya received a message calling on them to come to Gudermes on September 10 to "define the date for leaving to Myanmar for jihad." Earlier, the WhatsApp user with a nickname almost identical to the nickname used by Magomed Daudov in the Instagram announced his intention to pay for air tickets of those who wish to go to Myanmar.

On Ramzan Kadyrov’s order, Ziyad Sabsabi, a member of the Russian Federation Council (a senator), is now in a refugee camp in Bangladesh, near the border with Myanmar. The aim of his visit is to organize the delivery of humanitarian aid to refugees, the "Interfax" reports.

On September 8, the refugees, namely, 160 people, residing in spontaneous camps near the border, will start receiving food from the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation, Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in his Instagram.

Let us note her that in Chechnya itself, Muslims, who do not follow the traditional Islam, are being persecuted by the authorities.
