Astrakhan residents hold four pickets after search of Navalny's office

Today, residents of Astrakhan have held a series of solo pickets in various parts of the city in connection with a search at the office of Alexei Navalny.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening on July 6, Alexei Navalny's Astrakhan office was searched. Policemen took away four boxes with leaflets and other materials.

Zarif Kurochkin, a Navalny's supporter, held his solo picket near the regional office of the opposition politician with a poster "Stop plundering offices!"

According to his story, policemen confiscated most of the office's working materials.

Later, the activist held another solo picket near Bratsky Park.

Igor Stenin held his solo picket near the residence of the governor of the Astrakhan Region holding a poster "Justice for all – not lawlessness for power agents!"

"By my poster I wanted to state that in Astrakhan they persecute... all those, who do not agree with thefts, corruption, criminal negligence of bosses of various levels," Igor Stenin told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Alexei Tyurin held his solo picket near the city administration with the poster "Hospitals and roads – not officials' palaces!" "Since law enforcers protect corrupt officials... we will go out to solo pickets all around the city, and, according to the Constitution, whenever we want, to achieve our goals," the activist told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
