Stepanakert reports on intensive shelling of its positions

Last night, at the contact line of the troops, the Azerbaijani military forces have 19 times violated the ceasefire. This has been reported today by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that almost every day, the parties to the Karabakh conflict accuse each other of violation of the armistice signed on April 5. So, today, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence has reported that its positions were shelled from machine guns. On July 21, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of eight cases of shelling per day, and Nagorno-Karabakh reported on 16 cases of shelling from the Azerbaijani side.

Last night, the Azerbaijani armed forces have violated the ceasefire 19 times. This has been told today to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by a press officer of the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD.

According to the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD's official, the Azerbaijani armed forces have done "more than 320 shots of the small arms of various types on the positions of the Defence Army." "The advanced forces of Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Army refrained from retaliatory actions," clarified an official from the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD.
