In Yerevan, police release all detained activists (+video)

Detained participants of the action of disobedience, held in front of the presidential residence and the building of the Armenian government, are released.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 25, in Yerevan, activists held a protest action with the demand to release activist Vardges Gaspari. Protestors tried to block Bagramyan Avenue, but were driven out by the police. Nine persons were detained.

The police released all the detainees from the police stations of Arabkir and Kentron after midnight (local time), reports Artush Chibukhchyan, one of the detainees, a member of the initiative group "No robbery!"

According to him, proceedings were initiated against activists under Article 182 of the Administrative Code of Armenia "failure to obey lawful demand of a police officer."

The activist does not exclude that the actions of disobedience will continue.
