CTO legal regime in Tsumada District of Dagestan cancelled

The counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime, earlier introduced in the territory of three villages of the Tsumada District of Dagestan, as well as in the area of Mount Alak, has been cancelled. This was reported by an official from the operational headquarters for Dagestan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 11, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime was introduced in the villages of Gimerso, Gigatli, and Khushtada, and in the area of Mount Alak of the Tsumada District. According to the operational headquarters for Dagestan, law enforcers were searching for members of illegal armed formations (IAFs).

Today, at 11:20 a.m., the CTO legal regime has been cancelled, the newspaper "Chernovik" (Draft) reports with reference to an official from the operational headquarters for Dagestan.
