Residents of Dagestan report no restrictions in CTO zone
Residents of the villages of Untsukul and Shamilkala have learned about the introduction of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) legal regime from media. The villagers have reported that the introduction of the CTO legal regime in no way affects their daily lives.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the CTO legal regime has been introduced within the boundaries of residential settlements of Untsukul and Shamilkala.
According to Nabi Magomedov, a resident of the village of Untsukul, the villagers do not feel the action of the CTO legal regime.
"Usually, when they introduce the CTO legal regime, they accumulate a lot of vehicles and law enforcers. They block the tunnel, introduce the special regime and check vehicles. And now, we observe nothing of the above. There are three Ural trucks standing on the road closer to Shamilkala, and that is all," the villager has said. According to him, the residents of the villager have not been informed about the introduction of the CTO legal regime.
The situation in the village of Shamilkala is also quiet, reports Sapiyat M., a local woman.
Officials from the Untsukul ROVD (District Interior Division) have reported that it is the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC), which has the power to introduce the CTO legal regime.
